Cryptocurrency wallets are a cornerstone of Web3, giving you full control over your assets. The blockchain we are running on, Aleph Zero, offers its own native extension as well as collaborates with several third-party wallet providers. Install extension or app
There are two types of wallets you can use to sign transactions on AZERO.ID (opens in a new tab):
- Browser extensions: Wallets as browser extensions allow you to sign transactions on your desktop computer.
- Mobile apps: Wallets as native mobile apps allow you to sign transactions on your mobile device via in-app browsers.
- Ledger wallets: For extra security, you can connect either of the wallet types above to a Ledger hardware wallet.

Setup your account
After the installation is complete, follow the wallet's instructions to create a new account or import an existing one. Make sure to store your seed phrase in a safe place.

After your wallet is set up, it needs to be funded to be able to pay for domain and transaction fees (gas). You can buy $AZERO tokens in the following ways:
